A new chat in any directory of the machine, answers to the model's questions, model and effort changed on the fly. The transcript goes into the same files the CLI uses.

Nothing leaves your machine

There is no cloud of ours and no sign-up: the client talks straight to your server. The only way in is an access key, the licence is MIT.

Where to start

If this is your first time here, the road is this:

Installation — a single binary or docker compose. Claude Code must already be set up on the machine: Clauder takes its OAuth token and runs that same CLI.
First run — the access key, moving the address to your phone with a QR code, the first chat.
Access from outside — the local network, a one-click tunnel, a VPN or your own domain. Telegram works without any inbound route at all.

After that, as needed: reading sessions, the chat, where the session runs, secrets, notifications, hooks and the API reference.

Clauder brings you here itself

Every screen — in the web UI, in the desktop app and on Android — has a «?» icon in its header that opens the page about that very screen. You don't have to hunt for the right section by hand.

What this is not

Clauder is a home tool published as is, not a supported product with guarantees. It is built for a single owner and their machine; what that means in practice is spelled out honestly in Security.
